HOW TO STOP UNSOLICITED MESSAGES FROM MTN

I know how much you hate it when you hear the message tone on your phone and the accompanying buzz of your phone's vibration only to see one useless message from MTN advertising one of their services or telling you to subscribe to a certain this or that while maybe you were expecting an alert or a romantic text from a sweetheart.

If you get such messages, you are not alone. As I write this, I have not less than 300 messages on my father's phone all from MTN and their allies.

So if you normally get messages from numbers like 5021, 5030, 5032, 5031, 4100 and their likes, just do this simple thing and you are on your way to 'ahaa!'

  • Just send STOP to 33111

You should get a text that resembles this "You will be removed from our campaign database within 24hours, thank you"

Yeah! You just did it, so enjoy your peace from their 'wahala'.
If this info just helped you, be generous, take 5 seconds and share it so your friends can benefit. Don't forget to add your comments below.

A statement from the national secretariat of NYSC reports that Akpanika,  who hailed from Calabar Municipal Local Government Area of Cross River State, was  murdered at his residence about 5p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 with stabs of knife on his body.
Until his death, The late corps member, was mobilised for the 2014 Batch ‘C’ and deployed to Imo State, and was subsequently posted to Christ the Saviour Secondary School, Aboh Mbaise, for his primary assignment.

The statement also records that the Director General of NYSC, Brig. General Johnson Olawumi, had dispatched a team of officers from the NYSC Directorate Headquarters, Abuja, led by the Director, Corps Welfare and Inspectorate, Mr. Michael Ahile, accompanied by the Head of Legal Unit, Mr. Ahmed Tijani Ibrahim and Assistant Director Protocol and Publicity, Mr. Eddy Megwa, to among other things visit the scene of the murder, liaise with security agencies and traditional institutions in Imo State to ensure that those responsible for the murder of the said corps member are fished out and brought to book.

He (The DG) further appealed to the security agencies, traditional rulers, and the good people of Imo State to do everything within their power to safeguard lives and property of corps members deployed to their states.
“The DG also called on corps employers and corps members’ host communities to see the safety and welfare of corps members posted to them as their primary responsibility.  He warned that henceforth the NYSC will not fold its hands and allow criminal elements to continue to threaten its operations by mindless and senseless killing of corps members serving the nation.” He furtherThe management of NYSC however sympathised with the family and friends of the late corps member  over the irreparable loss of a compatriot on national service.
