As we go into an endless wait for the call up letters, I think
we should use this opportunity to spell out some of the things we need to put
in place to ensure a hitch-free and enjoyable camp. Knowing these things will
sure get you relaxed and help you avoid the mistake of being sent back to wherever you came from. So watch out
for these things and adhere to them
1. YOU MUST PREPARE YOURSELF
First of all, just know that the NYSC orientation
camp is not your father’s home. You are going into a life purposely packaged to
prepare you to be able to meet the challenges of life and be able to adapt to
any life condition wherever you find yourself. First, military men are
everywhere, so prepare your mind to face the disciplined life of the army and
be ready to keep the rules of the camp that will be spelt out to you to the
letter.
2.

you can be sent back or out of camp
